Universal Islands of Adventure - Save Time in Line!

The Most Miserly Mom is not only miserly with her money - she is also miserly with her time. Most families are the same way, right? No one wants to wait in line too long with their impatient (but happy) children? Well, here is one tip for Islands of Adventure that the Most Miserly Mom must share with you.

When you hit the park running at opening time (9:00am) head towards Dueling Dragons instead of The Hulk if you are ready for a morning adrenaline rush. The Hulk’s lines immediately begin, and by the time you arrive may have a 30 minute wait. Dueling Dragons, on the other hand, will most likely have a 5 minute wait! So, grab your teens and get ready to flip, flop, and roll on an awesome coaster.

The Most Miserly Mom definitely recommends this one!

FREE Tickets to Gatorland!

The Most Miserly Mom loves the word FREE! And I have found yet another way to get something free when visiting the Disney and Orlando area: a free admission to Gatorland.

Gatorland is definitely something to add on to your visit to the Orlando/Disney vacation because your children can really see hundreds of alligators - it is a true Florida Nature experience - and tons of fun too!

If you travel to Florida during your child’s birthday month, you can receive FREE admission into Gatorland. They will actually mail you a coupon.

For more information on how to receive the free coupon call 1.800.393.JAWS.
